Revival

I was going through some old boxes that I had in the attic, and guess what I found...
An old LCD handheld game. Neko Don Don! And after replacing the batteries with new ones, I luckily found that IT IS WORKING! This is a game that my father bought in 1982, and it still works. And it is still just as fun as it was then.
So I guess I have a new addiction.

Road trip through Georgia

Two weeks ago we decided to do a road trip. All we knew was that we wanted to go to Savannah. So that's were we started our trip.
Saturday morning we entered Savannah. We walked around all day and enjoyed the beautiful sites, houses and gardens. Late in the afternoon we decided to go to Atlanta, and see Martin Luther King Jrs museum.
So late Saturday night we entered Atlanta. The morning after that we went to the museum. It was really hard to walk around there and look at the pictures and see the movies, and finally visit the house were he was born. Later in the afternoon we decided to leave Atlanta. We were tired and had to get away from the bug city life.
So of into the mountains we went. And ended up in Dahlonega, a small city which was one of the first to go through the gold rush. So we payed the gold mine a visit. Did also get the opportunity to pot for gold, and we did find some!! Dahlonega is a very beautiful old city, with old houses and very friendly people. Very much worth a visit!
After spent about 36 hours in Dahlonega we went to Plains. The home city of Jimmy Carter. We entered Plains very late in the evening, but luckily managed to get a room at the Plains Inn, which turned out to be one of the best Inns we have ever visited. Just look at the pictures and you will understand. There are 7 rooms, the are all from different years, from 1920-1980. In each room you can find antique things from these eras.
There is something with not having any plans when you travel. It's at those times that you hopefully manage to find these pearls that we did.
If you haven't been to Georgie, go! It is beautiful!

Another try

Went to the shooting range again. No fire this time.
I shot with a Sig.22 and a Glock.9. And I have to admit, I was pretty good at it. But when they brought out the Magnum 44, I was satisfied with just holding it. It was a litle to big and heavy for me.
